The Design of Contrast by Benjamin Edgar

Benjamin Edgar will be exhibiting his latest collection of objects including his first furniture piece, The Sculptor's Stand Stool, at The A/D/O Shop from June 8 - July 8.

About the exhibition:

In collaboration with A/D/O by MINI, Benjamin Edgar presents an installation with a focus on the intersection of industrial design, abstract use of materials, and an obsession with curiosity. The end goal is to create a sum that is greater than the parts – encouraging a viewer to imagine the everyday products, materials, and most importantly, ideas around them in new abstracted ways to inspire and be inspired.

At The A/D/O Shop, Benjamin Edgar looked to accomplish this using the object company framework he created, which elevates and reimagines the mundane and everyday objects around us as items to be celebrated via their materials, color, context, and presentation.
