Holiday Wrapping Paper RISO Workshop

Design your own custom holiday wrapping paper with help from author and illustrator, Cecilia Ruiz. Learn how to use simple shapes, patterns, and holiday motifs to create vibrant custom prints for holiday gift wrap. Guided by Cecilia, participants get hands-on experience with the Risograph printer and learn Riso-specific design techniques. Attendees will leave with 20 11X17 prints on wrapping or tissue paper. All experience levels are welcomed, however, pre-made art is discouraged. Lunch and all materials are provided.

Risograph printing is a cross between screen printing and photocopying. The Riso printer gives you all the wonders of screen printing and more – bright colors, overlapping inks, beautiful textures, charming mistakes and a handcrafted look.
