Office of Tangible Space by Michael Yarinsky is an interdisciplinary design studio specializing in architecture, interiors, furniture and curation.

Our work is marked by the idea that modernism should have warmth and materiality - that space should feel lived in and textured. Much of the work attempts to bring the play and “texture” to clean modernism through the use of new and unexpected materials, details, form, and color. We hope to capture the art of simplicity and beauty in materials to create a cohesive whole. The intentionality in each detail allows for moments of engagement and opportunities for social gatherings in a thoughtful environment. Restraint in design elements strengthens the feeling of comfort and contentment in the space. It evokes a desire to stay and to notice - to focus on the things that matter. Our approach is fundamentally human-centric.
